Over 250 flight attendants, pilots, and mechanics and their families attended a "Unity Event" on May 23, 2006. The Mesaba Labor Coalition - AFA, ALPA, and AMFA - hosted the event to remind Mesaba management that we are as united as ever in the fight to preserve fair wages. The evening began under a large tent on the Metrodome’s promenade and continued inside the dome where the Twins beat the Indians in the 10th inning. Every attendee wore the signature lime green CHAOS shirts and that attracted substantial media attention. The StarTribune featured our story on the cover of the 5/25/06 Business section.
